UPDATE: New Seawall Ordinance passed by the City of Fort Lauderdale requiring the minimum sea wall height raised from 3.9′ to 5.0′ above mean sea level. This height requirement would apply to any new seawalls or nuissance seawalls that are in disrepair. Many owners will be able to add a 1.0′ cap to their existing seawalls. 🛥️
