Ryan is a strong and committed member of the Fort Lauderdale community. Ryan’s local board and community affiliations include Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade where he acted as Boat Parade Chairman, Fort Lauderdale Marine Advisory Board, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Marine Industry Association of South Florida, International Yacht Broker Association, Bonnet House Preservation Society, Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis.
In his free time, Ryan passes on his love for all the wonders Fort Lauderdale has to offer to his next generation -- spending as much free time as possible on the water with his two young children. Ryan puts the athletic skills he honed as a collegiate swimmer while he worked toward a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Management at the University of Maryland to use teaching his daughter to swim and coaches his son’s football and soccer teams. Other outdoor activities like boating and golf with family and friends are a great way for Ryan to recharge.
